It’s sort of crazy how much relatively easy access the Milwaukee area has to monster music festivals. We have the hometown Big Gig of Summerfest every year, plus a steady diet of events happening right down I-94 in Chicago.
The mid-2000s added Pitchfork Festival and Lollapalooza. Sueños Music Festival gave reggaetón and Latin trap enthusiasts a place to party starting in 2022. Then, just this year, Re:SET held its inaugural event, also in the Windy City. That’s five pretty massive collections of musical talent within very reasonable driving distance, all between May 27 and Aug. 6.
Like I said, crazy.
The last of those sizable soirees starts tomorrow, when Lollapalooza kicks off four days of music in Grant Park, wrapping up Sunday night. It’s possible you’re taking advantage of the proximity and traveling the short distance to catch one or more of the daily lineups. It’s also possible you don’t really dig the outdoor festival scene, which can certainly be overwhelming at times. Or maybe you prefer keeping it local (we have a regular web feature just for folks like you).
Whatever your reason for not attending, festivals have made a concerted effort in recent years to still give you a taste of the proceedings via streaming. Coachella and Pitchfork go the YouTube route, while Bonnaroo, the Austin City Limits Festival and Lollapalooza are all on Hulu’s stream-waves.
So, if you happen to be a Hulu subscriber or want to dip in for a free trial (and then dip right back out again), there’s a lot to see and hear over the next four days when you visit Hulu's home for the festival. We added the full Lollapalooza 2023 streaming schedule below, with a few of our favorite artists in bold just in case you want to be selective with your viewing. Everything is in Central Standard Time, and the schedule is subject to change.
