MUNA to headline Summerfest’s BMO Pavilion on June 27

Summerfest took another step toward filling its BMO Pavilion slate Monday morning with the announcement that MUNA will headline June 27.

With the second Thursday of the festival now spoken for, five of the nine dates have headliners in place: Brittany Howard on June 20, MUNA on June 27, REO Speedwagon on June 28, Mt. Joy on July 4 and Ivan Cornejo on July 6.

The latest addition to the calendar enjoyed a breakout 2023, which included several high-profile festival appearances, as well as opening gigs with the likes of Lorde and Taylor Swift. MUNA signed to Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records in 2021, put out their self-titled album a year later and found some nice traction with the single “Silk Chiffon” (featuring their new label boss).

Your first chance to get tickets to the MUNA show at BMO Pavilion is the venue presale at 10 a.m. this Thursday, Feb. 15, with the general sale at the same time the following day. Tickets will be available online via Ticketmaster and at the Summerfest box office.
