It was a dramatic 2023 for regional Mexican artist Peso Pluma, and Milwaukee got caught up in it with the postponements/cancellations of two attempts to play Fiserv Forum: an original show Sept. 18 and a second try Nov. 4. On Tuesday, Pluma announced a new string of dates that includes a May 30 concert at the Milwaukee arena.
The false starts last year stemmed from death threats Pluma received based on lyrics that reference drug cartels. Out of caution, he pushed back a series of concerts, including the September appearance in Milwaukee. The November show was then postponed as well, although the original tickets from those dates will be honored at the May 30 concert.
For those who didn’t purchase tickets yet, those go on sale to the general public at noon this Friday, Feb. 23, online at Ticketmaster and at the Fiserv Forum box office. More information about tickets and a series of presales is also available at Ticketmaster.
