Two artists known for creating a distinct sense of atmosphere — both in their music and their live sets — will team up for a Nov. 8 show at the Back Room @ Colectivo.
The first act on the night’s bill won’t have a problem finding his way around the neighborhood. Christopher Porterfield of Milwaukee’s Field Report will get things rolling with a solo set in advance of the headliner, Anna Tivel.
The Portland, Oregon-based artist shares her opener’s storytelling ability, as well as the sense of intimacy that shines through her songs. Tivel has released a pair of singles in advance of her upcoming album, “Outsiders,” due for release Aug. 19.
Tickets for the November show will be available online and at the Pabst/Riverside box offices at 10 a.m. this Friday, July 22.
