The folks behind Coachella just announced a new music festival focusing on hip-hop and R&B called Lovers & Friends. The festival will take place in Los Angeles on May 9.
The lineup is full of nostalgia acts and a few new artists as well. Headlining the festival will be Usher, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Ludacris, Lil Jon, TLC, Nelly, T-Pain, Summer Walker, Megan Thee Stallion and Sean Paul.
Other artists set to perform include Brandy, Monica, Mike Jones, 112, Amerie, Eve, Trina, Ginuwine, Dru Hill and more.
The festival will take place at the Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21. General admission tickets are $145-$175; VIP tickets are $230-$250 and Super VIP tickets are $450. There is a special pre-sale that begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 for fans that sign up at loversandfriendsfest.com. Goldenvoice is also offering a payment plan option that begins at $19.99 down.
