To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Metallica’s Master of Puppets, the band will release a new box set, featuring unreleased demos, live recordings, mixes, a 108-page hardcover book, DVD’s, handwritten lyrics and even Jason Newstead’s demo tape. The massive box set will arrive on November 10th through Metallica’s own Blackened Recordings.

The Flaming Lips and Mac DeMarco are working on a split EP as they get ready to head out on a joint tour together. The Lips will cover three DeMarco songs and DeMarco will cover three Lips songs on the new record. Both bands make a stop on their tour in Milwaukee when they play the Eagles Ballroom on September 18th.
