Listen to Studio:Milwaukee session with Grizfolk

Our Frostbite Music Series kicked off with Grizfolk, a five-piece band from Los Angeles with Swedish roots. We’ve been playing their song, “Hymnals,” on the air.

Listen to the session in the player above -- and check out the photos below.

About Grizfolk:

The band released its debut EP, "From the Spark," in February, 2014.

The band formed in Los Angeles in 2013 when Swedish producers Frederik Eriksson (guitar) and Sebastian Fritze (synthesizer, backing vocals) met singer-songwriter Adam Roth (lead vocals). They were joined by Brendan Willing James (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Bill Delia (drums) later that year.

The group, signed by Virgin Records, supported label mates Bastille on their European and US tours in 2014. The band has also toured with Haim and Wild Cub, and will perform at the Boston Calling Music Festival in May.
