This past Saturday, Icelandic artist Asgeir performed a Studio:Milwaukee session at 88Nine. He opened for Hozier later that night at The Riverside Theater.
This Icelandic musician, only 22, has the biggest-selling debut album in Icelandic history, “In the Silence.” Comparable to Justin Vernon’s Eau Claire music group, Bon Iver, Ásgeir’s melodies take you on unique soundscapes with a healthy hint of Icelandic flair.
