Each Thursday morning on Radio Milwaukee we — the Journal Sentinel’s Piet Levy and 88Nine’s Jordan Lee — talk about the music coming into and the music coming out of Milwaukee on Tap’d In.
On this week’s episode, we preview a unique event: Fall Experiment. It’s an immersive technology, art, gaming and music conference right here in Milwaukee. It’s happening Oct. 4 and 5 and the Wisconsin Center, and it’ll have a South by Southwest feel, with keynote speakers and panels.
Music is a big part of the event. Steve Aoki will headline, returning to Milwaukee after his appearance at Summerfest this summer, where he also spoke about technology. Aoki has been looking at where VR fits into the future. He’ll perform Oct. 5 with opener Arabian Prince, a founding member of NWA. Before his performance, Arabian Prince be doing a fireside chat about technology, video games and the future of music production.
