In The Mix with guest Koshka

Every Saturday evening we set the vibe from 10 p.m. to midnight as we mix up the hottest sounds from the electronic dance music scene.  In The Mix with  DJ Kenny Perez prides itself on bringing to the forefront some of Milwaukee's most talented DJs and producers as guests on the show.

Last weekend was LIT (my daughter hates when I say that)! We threw down some fat new tracks for our listeners and the response was overwhelming. We kicked off the show with a soon to be released banger "Beam" from Pyscho Disco!'s producer DJ extraordinaire, Hood Rich. Moving forward we grooved into songs from Marc Volt, Andy Vargas, Don Diablo, plus a bootleg from a Milwaukee producer Chvn.

When I started "In The Mix" my mission was seek out talented DJs who love electronic music in all it's forms. It's no mystery that Site1A has been a hub for world renowned artists and DJs like Kaskade, SNBRN, Hannah Wants, J Phlip, and the list goes on. The venue is also known to spit up some of the freshest local Milwaukee talent this city has ever seen like TOMBZ, RCKT PWR, and Backline's Crystal Knives, etc. Some have gone on to produce music for record labels in major city's like Chicago and Los Angeles, but in the wake of their departure emerges a new crop of beat slangers. Koshka is one of the new ones from this growing DJ community. Her fan page and Soundcloud is only a few months old, but that didn't matter to me. The talent is there and you can sense that with time and continued dedication she will be one of the premier DJs in the city. She is on the bill for the Plaid Hawaii & Goodsex show Aug. 2, 2019, opening for legend Volac & Phlegmatic Dogs Sept. 20, 2019, and just played a fresh B2B set with (who is also going to be on the show soon) DJ Phox. It's an honor that Koshka jumped at the opportunity to be on my show, so enjoy her LIVE set and follow her fan page!
