There’s something about all kinds of art coming together in one place — or, in the case of the upcoming Bay View Gallery Night, multiple places but still in the same general area. It’s convenient, yes, but there’s also a communal atmosphere that elevates the whole experience.
Bay View Gallery Night does that by itself without too much trouble, spreading activities across dozens of locations throughout the neighborhood. From paintings to photos and sculptures to comics, there’s a lot to see and do. And that’s before you throw in the fact that the spring installment coming up May 31 includes the return of Bay View Jazz Fest.
So when we talk about all the talented artists gathering in Bay View that night, we can throw in 15 different groups who will play at seven venues in the neighborhood.
