Tickets for 'Hamilton' at the Marcus Center go on sale Tuesday

The Marcus Center has lined up an impressive 2019-2020 season that includes major draws like the Tony Award-winning "Dear Evan Hansen," but by far its buzziest booking this year is " Hamilton." The touring production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's blockbuster musical will star Joseph Morales, a Hamilton alternate in the Chicago production of the show, in the lead role.

Given the musical's popularity, though, if you want to score them, you'll probably have to act fast. Here's how to get them.

Single ticket sales for "Hamilton" will go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Ticketmaster.com and at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Marcus Center's box office, 929 N. Water St. Ticket purchases will be limited to eight tickets per household.

The production will run for 32 performances from Oct. 22-Nov. 17 at the Marcus Center's Uihlein Hall. rices range from $80 to $199, with a select number of $399 premium seats available for big spenders.

The Marcus Center is also warning against counterfeit tickets. "If you purchase tickets from any other source, we cannot guarantee your seat," the venue writes. "Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources are often greatly inflated in price. They may be stolen, counterfeit or invalid and may not be honored."
