Three hours is a lot of Batman, maybe too much Batman

This week The Cinebuds take on "The Batman." The new "Batman" is three hours long. Just want to let you know that up front. It’s long because they are going to want you to watch two TV series spinoffs before the sequel and they plant those storylines at length in this movie.

"The Batman"

Is it worth the length? Does it offer anything that any of the previous ten Batmen have not offered? Is Paul Dano’s Riddler as corny as Riddlers of the past? Is the portrayal of Gotham’s inner city life problematic? Is the tension between Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz so, so hot?

We have VERY different takes on The Batman. Also, if you are a fan of Wes Anderson in any way, stick around for What Else We’ve Been Watching to hear about the movie where he got so much of his signature style.
