Milwaukee bakers are fighting racism with a bake sale

Bakers against racism

People are finding their own way to fight police violence and systemic racism in their own way. This includes people who like making sweet treats.

A worldwide group called Bakers Against Racism is hosting a global bake sale to support racism justice and inequality from June 15-20. And there is a Milwaukee chapter hosting a bake sale at Egg & Flour in Bay View.

The Milwaukee Chapter of Bakers Against Racism will donate 100% of sales directly to Love On Black Women, a local Milwaukee non-profit that serves women of color.

You can pre-order beginning on June 15. Quantities of all items. Pick up will be on June 20 at Egg and Flour Bay View.

The bakers will be using Wisconsin-grown and milled flour in all of the baked goods donated from the Artisan Grain Collaborative.
