After giving us the broad strokes of the entertainment we can expect at the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival next month, event organizers on Thursday unveiled the full schedule for the four-day celebration that runs from Thursday, July 13, through Sunday, July 16.
The H-D Museum and H-D Powertrain Operations will have programming throughout the festival, while Veterans Park will host the tentpole-type portion that Friday and Saturday. We already knew what to expect on the music side of things those two days, courtesy of a January announcement that revealed Green Day, Foo Fighters and a host of other headliners. But based on the schedule released today, it seems there’s been a slight shift in and a few additions to the initial reveal.
For Friday, July 14, Social Distortion no longer appears in the lineup, and the two newcomers are Milwaukee native Abby Jeanne (who will join Say She She at a Back Room show we’re presenting 11 days later) and English rock band The Cult. It doesn’t appear that we’ve lost any of the initial announced acts for the following day, but one more has been added in the form of Pittsburgh rock/blues group Ghost Hounds.
Veterans Park will also offer various attractions, including:
- Food-and-beverage vendors
- H-D 120th and artist merchandise
- H-D Collections pop-up shop
- The Del Mar Experience presented by LiveWire
- Wall of Death with Kyle and Cody Ives
- H-D and LiveWire Jumpstart experience
- Nitro Circus motocross show
- Ball of Steel with Kyle and Cody Ives
- Matty Matheson’s Burger Build-Off (Saturday)
Outside of Veterans Park, the festival laid out the daily music lineups for the H-D Museum, as well as the various activities available there and at H-D Powertrain Operations. The museum itself will of course be open all four days, along with the H-D Shop and Motor Bar & Restaurant. That site will also have:
- Food trucks
- A product showroom with 2023 models
- Displays and demos of the all-electric LiveWire, Stacyc electric balance bikes and Serial1 eBicycle
- Division BMX stunt shows
- Flat Out Friday Boonie Bike Race (Friday only, obviously)
- Mama Tried & Friends Motorcycle Show (Saturday and Sunday)
- Vintage Motorcycle Field Games (Saturday)
Programming at H-D Powertrain Operations will include:
- Model year 2023 demos
- Factory tours and experiences
- Food-and-beverage vendors
- Powertrain Operations and 120th anniversary merchandise
- Police skills riding demonstrations
- The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill (Friday and Saturday)
