Milwaukee Cocktail Week is more than just cocktails
Each Friday at 8am on 88Nine, Milwaukee Magazine’s dining critic, Ann Christenson, and 88Nine foodie Tarik Moody discuss Milwaukee’s culinary and restaurant culture.
This week on This Bites, we talk about three featured dinners during Milwaukee Cocktail Week. We also had a discussion about Silver City’s International Food and Art Walk, Beet Street Harvest Festival; and Hunger Task Force Fundraiser featuring small plates from a variety of Milwaukee restaurants.
Listen to the podcast below.
Milwaukee Cocktail Week
Milwaukee Cocktail Week begins on Sep 26 and ends on Oct 2. Besides the various cocktail-focus events, there will be several dinners.
Iron Grate BBQ takes over Gypsy Taco's truck (Patio of Boone & Crockett) for the night in this pop-up BBQ & Bourbon dinner event to kick off Milwaukee Cocktail Week!
Enjoy some of Milwaukee’s best BBQ and sip some bourbon and cocktails featuring Jim Beam Bourbon starting at 5:30pm and lasting until they run out of BBQ!
As part of Milwaukee Cocktail Week and in conjunction with Badger Wine and Spirits, Bacchus is excited to offer a unique single malt and cocktail dinner, featuring selected offerings from the Glenmorangie family of fine single malt scotch whisky. Each selection will be showcased on its own, to let the purest expression of the spirit shine, as well as in craft cocktails of our own concoction to highlight the versatility and creativity inherent in a product so "unnecessarily well made."
This high achieving whisky has won more 'Gold Best in Class' awards over the last five years than any other single malt Scotch whisky from the International Wine and Spirits Competition. Find out for yourself why Glenmorangie has been the best-selling single malt in Scotland almost continuously since 1983.
Goodkind continues their MKECW tradition of hosting one of our popular cocktail dinners with a 5-coursed dinner featuring low-ABV cocktails (session cocktails, aperitifs, digestifs).
This dinner is $100 / person (plus gratuity).
Goodkind's dinner is always extremely popular (and delicious), and will likely sell out fast! RSVP directly with the restaurant. Details below.
