Fondy Farmers Market Opening day celebration
On June 17 from 7 am - 3 pm, Fondy Farmers Market will be celebrating opening day. In addition to amazing and fresh produce, the market will offer a seasonal Soul Cooking Demo with Zakiya Courtney from 10am-12pm.
Drink Wisconsinbly's Inaugural Curd Fest
On June 17, Drink Wisconsinbly will host a cheese curd fest. The day will start with our 5(Curd)K! A 5k run/walk through the streets of Walker's Point with cheese curds along the route. Other activities include:
- Cheese curd eating competition
- Best Cheese Curd in Milwaukee competition: They are inviting several of MKE's finest to show off their curds and to be a judged by a panel of local curd enthusiasts.
New Taco Trailer in Walker's Point
If you go to the corner of 1st and Pittsburgh, you will notice a new taco trailer by the name of Mazorca. It is a family run operation and featuring some amazing tacos and fresh beverages.
