Black Friday beer events
Ann talked about Milwaukee Magazine's round-up of Black Friday beer deals and events throughout Milwaukee including Lakefront Brewery's 9th annual Black Friday beer release, 8th annual Black Friday Beerfest at Harley Davidson Museum, Mobcraft's Black Friday Tent Partyand more.
Nightmare Before Christmas Holiday Pop-up at Lost Whale
From Dec. 13 to Dec. 24, Lost Whale will host a pop-up inspired by the Tim Burton classic "Nightmare Before Christmas." Each night will feature a special cocktail and profits of those sales will benefit Milwaukee's Hope House.
Also Lost Whale will be part of the Repeal Day party at Arts @ Large. The party will feature drinks from local area bars and restaurants including Boone and Crockett, Fauntleroy, DanDan, Jazz Estate, Bittercube Bar and Bizaar and more. Proceeds benefit Arts @ Large.
New taco and tequila spot coming to Washington Heights
A new spot called Paloma Tacos & Tequila will be opening in Washington Heights sometime in 2020. The restaurant will be located at 5419 W. North Ave. and will offer Mexican dishes featuring seafood, vegan and vegetarian options. According to a Journal Sentinel story, they plan to have mezcal and tequila along with infused tequilas and cocktails like a mezcal Old Fashioned.
Indulgence Chocolate Pairing Classes
Milwaukee's Indulgence Chocolatiers are offering the perfect gift for that special chocolate lover. They will be offering a variety of chocolate pairing classes. In January, there will be winter wine, cheese and chocolate pairing class and a winter Old Fashion and chocolate pairing class. Then in February, they will host a full-bodied red wine and chocolate pairing class.
