Thousands of people took to the streets of Milwaukee Monday, marching from the Walker's Point neighborhood, along 6th St. and into downtown, as part of the annual "Day Without Latinos" demonstration.
Organized by Voces De La Frontera, the march united in Latinos, immigrants, refugees and religious groups in opposition of local and national immigration reform.
The procession ended at the Milwaukee County Courthouse, where a spirited lineup of speakers addressed the crowd and led chanting.
88nine walked alongside demonstrators and asked them to describe what a day without Latinos may actually look like in America.
