The three most haunted buildings in Milwaukee (that we've visited)

Just in time for Halloween, we're digging into the Urban Spelunking archives and uncovering the most haunted places we've visited!

Since 2015, OnMilwaukee's Bobby Tanzilo and I have discussed the history of hundreds of buildings, but three in particular jump out for their supernatural activity.

Listen to the special Halloween episode of Spelunking below, complete with gratuitous spooky sound effects. (Couldn't resist.)

The former Milwaukee Isolation Hospital

When the Isolation Hospital was built in 1878, folks still called it the Pest House. Read more about the Former Milwaukee Isolation Hospital on 23rd & Mitchell.

Kneisler's White House

Kneisler's White House on Ellen St. & Kinnickinnic Ave. is now closed, but still haunted.

Brumder Mansion

The Brumder Mansion on 31st & Wisconsin was built in 1910 and designed by architect Herman Schnetzky. Read more about this haunted bed & breakfast here.
