After 50 years, Dino's Riverwest will say goodbye this Wednesday

Dino's Riverwest closing

Iconic Dino's Riverwest announced on its Facebook page that it will be shuttering its doors after 50 years of service.

Dino's Riverwest started as a tavern in 1968 by Leo Dinon. It first opened as a restaurant in 1983, ran by Leo's wife, Rita. The local establishment became known for their fish frys and Italian dishes. Prior to its closing, Dino's is operated by Leo's grandsons, Lawrence and Anthony, the third generation of family members running Dino's Riverwest.

From Facebook:

"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the last 50 years! We appreciate all the support from friends, family, and the RW community. We are officially closing our doors next Wednesday"

On Aug. 28, Dino's Riverwest will host a farewell party beginning at 9 p.m. There will be a performance from Jack Reed Group.
