About a week and a half ago, we entered into the citywide discussion about Milwaukee’s Paid Sick Days ordinance. Prior to the ordinance being placed on the ballot, there was a noticeable lack of discourse in the community, and while the vote has already taken place, the conversation is still relevant given the ordinance’s current state of legal limbo. Through our newly created Be Heard Line, we’ve been able to gather a number of very strong opinions from our listeners. Take a listen to some of the calls we’ve received in the last week:
