Two stars of the Milwaukee rap scene joined Jordan in the studio this morning to promote a very exciting fund raiser this weekend in Milwaukee.
On October 23rd, the Hip-Hop Hates... series created by JC Poppe to raise money for different foundations, will have it's second event of this year. This time cash will be raised to help the fight against breast cancer, with all of the door funds going to the Southeastern Wisconsin chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
JC says... "It is for this reason that we as a society should continue to press forward with our support of different foundations like Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and other organizations that wish to eradicate cancer of all different kinds from the fibers of our communities."
Hip-Hop Hates Breast Cancer will be taking place on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010, at The Cactus Club in the Bayview section of Milwaukee (2496 S. Wentworth Ave.).
Performing throughout the night will be DJ Bizzon of WMSE's MadKids Show,SPEAK Easy and Misen Lync , AUTOMatic and Stricklin.
This morning Jordan had JC Poppe and Stricklin in the studio to talk about the event and tell us more about what they have been up to.
