No this is not a joke, but an amazing performance of Beatles' "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" by a California based string quartet called Quartetto Fantastico in a picturesque dive bar in southern California called Footise's. It was part of a celebration of John Lennon's 70th birthday a couple of weeks ago. Quartetto Fantastico features musician Miguel Atwood-Ferguson who has worked with artists like Aloe Blacc, Flying Lotus and others. He also has done a tribute to J Dilla as part of Mochilla Timeless series. The Quartetto Fantastico also performed as Dr Dre's string section back in 2006.
