Earlier today, Milwaukee's Kings Go Forth performed at Summer Soulstice on the east side. The band definitely receives a lot of hometown love, but New York based magazine Wax Poetics (my favorite magazine) showed some love for the band in their own way in a video series. The video appears on the front page of the magazine's website with the heading "Milwaukee outsiders capture soul’s golden age." The video features highlights from Kings Go Forth show at SOBs in New York and interviews with band members Andy Noble and Black Wolf. Check it out below.
