Not THIS generation.. .Our Next Generation, a community-based, non-profit organization provides academic support as well as associated support programs for Milwaukee urban youth. Conveniently located by Amaranth Bakery at 34th and Lisbon, ONG provides youth homework help, tutoring, arts, cultural and recreational experiences, job coaching, personal skill development; you name it, this place does it.
I met with Codi Alger (Public Relations and Volunteer Coordinator), Sam Dunn (President and CEO), Rukiya Alexander (Educational Coordinator), and student Devon Gildart (Senior at Pulaski High School) and talked about the origins of ONG and how IT makes a difference to THIS generation.
