I'm so excited for the future of electronic music. There is so much experimentation and growth that I can't even keep up. One group that I have been falling for is Purity Ring. It makes even special that they will be releasing their new album Shrines on my birthday - July 24, 2012. The album is full of lush textures, banging 808s and angelic vocals. It has a definite hip hop vibe to the album that you can't miss. If you don't believe take a listen to the album, a week before it is released (courtesy of NPR Music).
