In 2002, RJD2 released his debut solo album on Def Jux. DEADRINGER was a combination of Moby-like cinematic creations, early 2000s underground rap tracks and Cut Chemist style funk/break compositions.
One of my favorite tracks on this album has got to be "Good Times Roll Pt.2"
This track utilizes some interesting sample sources, including a riff from this Clarence Reid track "Nobody But You, Babe"
