Cyclists take to streets to promote bike safety

Dozens of local cyclists joined thousands around the world to honor those who have been killed or injured in bike accidents.

And they did it without saying a word.

The Ride of Silence is an international, simultaneous bike ride that happens every year on May 15.  Dressed in neon green T-shirts, local cyclists rode though Fox Point, silently raising awareness for safe biking.

Wheel and Sprocket organized the rides in the Milwaukee area.
