All this week on the Seven O'Clock Sample, we are looking at how artists have sampled the music of Bob Marley and the Wailers. There is no question how the sounds of the Wailers influnced the world, but many have taken those sounds over the years, and sampled them to create new bodies of work. On Monday we listened to the track "Do It Twice".
This was sampled by Talib Kweli on his album EARDRUM.
Today we took it back to the album UPRISING for the classic jam "Could You Be Loved".
De La Soul sampled this guitar lick in their 1991 song "Keepin The Faith".
