With the Affordable Care Act in effect, the deadline is fast approaching for uninsured Americans to sign up for a government-approved healthcare plan -- or face a financial penalty.
The cutoff to enroll is March 31.
And if you're unsure how to get the sign-up process started, don't worry. There's help out there.
At the Milwaukee Enrollment Network (MKEN), certified Assisters can walk you through process at more than 60 locations around Milwaukee county. From now until the end of March, MKEN is hosting both informational and hands-on sign-up events.
