In the first hour, we featured new music from Clean Bandit, and the London Collective Benin City, who fuses hip hop, electronica, drum n’ bass, jazz and soul. Our release of the week comes from Jose James' second album on Blue Note Records entitled While You were Sleeping. We also played a track from the legendary, jazz pianist Horace Silver, who unfortunately passed away earlier this week.
In the second hour, we featured new music from French producer/DJ 20 Syl, Taylor McFerrin, and Sylvan Esso. We also introduced two new artists, Kwamie Liv from Copenhagen and Miami's Telescope Thieves.
