Kids learn about Milwaukee history with... mustaches?

On its recent stop at Milwaukee's Kosciuszko Park, the Discovery World Kohl's Mobile Design It! Lab gave kids the chance to learn a bit about Milwaukee history, all while creating a unique project.

After they received a free meal courtesy of the Hunger Task Force, representatives from Discovery World provided colorful mustaches -- modeled after Milwaukee innovators -- for the kids to wear and take home.

From cutouts of the famous Bernie Brewer mustache, to the subtler John Gurda mustache, the project sparked their curiosity about Milwaukee and offered a fun activity after lunch.

For the last several years, Kohl's has partnered with the Hunger Task Force Discovery World to provide safe, supervised nourishment for kids -- both for their bodies and minds.
