For today's 5 o'clock Shadow, we hear from a band playing TONIGHT in Milwaukee -- New York based Landlady. They're playing Cactus Club, along with Buke and Gase, tonight at 9 p.m. in the Bay View neighborhood.
The cover is an interpretation of Sly & The Family Stone's "If This Room Could Talk," from their 1967 album A Whole New Thing. The album itself was a flop, at least commercially, but there are lots of great songs on it, including this one. Check out the original below:
