While most fans of The Cars associate the lead singing duties with Ric Ocasek, bass player Benjamin Orr sang "Just What I Needed", "Drive", "Let's Go" and today's Shadow song, "Bye Bye Love". Sadly, Ben left us in 2000 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Today would've been his 68th birthday.
