Blessed Feathers have had some milestone moments of their lives in Wisconsin. Donivan Berube and Jacquelyn Beaupré lived and fell in love in West Bend, got engaged on stage at Turner Hall Ballroom, married in rural Wisconsin. They’ve been citizens of the whole world ever since.
The beautiful new single, “Wyoming/Dakota” is a slice of their new adventures from Peru to Big Sur to their current home of Flagstaff, AZ. It sounds as wind-blown and traveled as Berube was when he biked solo across the country and the lyrics tell a little of that tale. “I know, someday we'll make out alive, I know/'Til then, I have to struggle and survive, alone.”
The single will be released Sept. 15 on 7” clear, glass-colored vinyl with artwork by Bay View artist and graphic designer Jenny Vanderheiden with a b-side by Milwaukeean Brett Newski! Includes a psychedelic spinning donut label and some extra goodies tucked inside.
