Riz is a local musician who has been performing Jazz, Hip-Hop and RandB music for over 20 years. During the day he is a regular everyday middle school teacher named Mr. Williams and at night he transforms into Riz, Milwaukee’s greatest opening act!
Rap J
Rap J is an artist born and raised in Milwaukee, WIsconsin. At the age of six years old, he started freestyling and discovered his passion for hip hop. Born with cerebral palsy, Rap J uses music to express himself and showcase that the condition does not define him. His musical influences include Michael Jackson, Biggie, and Tyler, The Creator. Since the release of Rap J 's latest album "Unstoppable", the rapper has been featured on CBS 58, Fox 6, TMJ4, Miwaukee Journal Sentinel, and Spectrum News. Rap J's biggest goal is to give hope through music and prove that any dream is attainable with the right mindset!
Amara
Amara Rappold is a student from the Milwaukee area who has pursued music since the 8th grade. Currently, she goes to school as a major in studio art, and works as a bartender in Wauwatosa. She is someone who has been heavily influenced by artists from the 70s through the 90s. Through music, she strives to spread mental heath awareness, and to overall spark joy to people of all ages. Some of her favorite inspirations include Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, Ken Pomeroy, Neil Young and much more. She is currently working on writing her own album, and should have it released by the end of 2024. She is mostly seen playing open mics around the Milwaukee area, and is very excited to start collaborations with local artists this year, including Rap J.
