In Billionaires In Space, sketch comedy troupe The Accountants Of Homeland Security present a night of hysterical satirical sketches in which our nation’s oligarchs vacation off the planet Earth to escape the societal collapse caused by their greedy, selfish actions. This one-night-only multimedia show combining live comedy and pre-taped video segments takes place October 18th at The Interchange Theater Co-op.
Consisting of Tim Grimes, Matthew Filipowicz, Bob Rok and Zach Zajac, The Accountants Of Homeland Security is a group of Milwaukee- and Chicago-based comedians with a 25-plus year history of producing sharp, timely, critically acclaimed comedy. They are regular performers at Laughing Liberally Milwaukee, a monthly political comedy show produced and hosted by one of the Accountants, Milwaukee comedian Matthew Filipowicz.
Opening the night will be standup comedian and host of the Dead Eyed Millennial Film Club, Jason Hillman.
Milwaukee Ballet’s haunting season opener reimagines the famous classical ballet Giselle into the darkness of wartime 1940s. Asking powerful questions about forgiveness and love in the face of unimaginable horrors, this production will leave audiences reflecting on how the past shapes our future.
Featuring the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, Giselle is presented in partnership with Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra and Violins of Hope.
Content Advisory: Due to scenes containing gun violence, this production is recommended for ages 16+
