Beware the Ides of March! If only Julius Caesar had listened. Fresh from a victory over his rival Pompey, Caesar basks in his newfound power, celebrated by the people of Rome. But not everyone is cheering. Some fear he is becoming too powerful; powerful enough to end the Roman Republic and crown himself king. Betrayal. Conspiracies. A public that cheers one day and turns the next. Who should hold power? And what happens when those in control decide to take matters into their own hands? Shakespeare’s gripping political thriller comes to life in a story of loyalty, honor, and the price of ambition.
J.M. Barrie’s classic story comes to life as never seen before in this thrilling new production. Through the magic of stage wizardry and the power of your imagination, you will find yourself transported along with Wendy and her brothers to Neverland — a place of magic and wonder, of danger and suspense, but above all a place where you will believe in the seemingly unbelievable! Marvel as the Darling children are swept into Peter's deadly battle with Captain Hook and his mostly-fearsome pirate crew. With so much excitement, why ever go home again...?

C21’s Story Cart project and Symphony Swan, ’25-’26 Story Fellow present W(rites) of Spring, a radical attention workshop with artist Mia Rimmer.
As the land transitions out of winter into bloom, W(rites) of Spring calls us to communicate at the speed of a flower’s unfurling. Rooted in the implosion work central to Mia Rimmer’s interdisciplinary practice, the project invites us to notice the changing of season as both external and internal ritual. The project halts the urgency of our technological correspondence, asking us to instead transcribe emotion to paper in three forms: long form letter writing, found object collage, and postcards featuring artwork from THE CR8TV HOUSE pen pal project.
This activation aims to step out of the anthropocene’s blurred speed and walk in tune with the pace of nature; a sentiment echoed across each component of the project, down to our chosen site of a NorthWest Side urban forest. (W)rites of Spring engages the participant as the creator and revealer of the rich layers of our inter-personal and -species relations.
The open and close of the space gathers participants together to reflect upon the weight and shape of words left unsaid— to a loved one, a lost one, and/or the self. In between, each person will explore the grounds and let these messages surface in conjunction with the forest’s reawakening; they are also invited to mindfully gather resonant ephemera for collaging.
The duration of (W)rites of Spring will be accompanied by a soundbath, commissioned from memory worker and sonic griot Harlem Masimba.
Join us for a hands-on celebration of DIY publishing, revolutionary print culture, and community storytelling! Inspired by the exhibitions Declaration of ____, Defying Empire, Let the Real World In, and This Side of the Stars, this creative festival brings together a dynamic artists’ conversation, community talkback, drop-in zine-making studio, and a live printmaking demonstration. Explore how prints—from 18th-century political cartoons to contemporary zines and cosmic imagery—have shaped ideas of identity, democracy, resistance, and belonging. Come make your own declaration, craft a zine, and add your voice to a growing community gallery. Activities are adaptable for all ages and skill levels; all materials provided.
