ABOUT THE PLAY In a seedy Oklahoma City motel room, a divorced waitress named Agnes and a soft-spoken Gulf War drifter named Peter are brought together by Agnes' friend R.C. Agnes has her reasons for holing up in a place like this, and Peter seems to understand the appeal of staying off the grid. What begins as an unlikely connection slowly unravels into something far darker: fears soon escalate to paranoia, conspiracy theories, and twisted motives, and small disturbances give way to mounting dread as the walls begin to close in. The play just had a tremendously successful run on Broadway starring Carrie Coon.

On a night filled with warmth, wit, and heartfelt revelation, three siblings reunite at their childhood home to celebrate their late mother’s birthday the only way she would’ve wanted—around the dinner table. But as laughter gives way to honesty, old hurts rise, secrets surface, and the faith she lived by begins to guide them toward healing.

The Prayer She Left Us is a moving stage play blending rich drama, gentle comedy, and uplifting spiritual truth—reminding us that love doesn’t end, it echoes… and sometimes it calls us back to the table.
