LOCATION | Studio Theater, Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway, Milwaukee WIABOUT THE PLAY In a seedy Oklahoma City motel room, a divorced waitress named Agnes and a soft-spoken Gulf War drifter named Peter are brought together by Agnes' friend R.C. Agnes has her reasons for holing up in a place like this, and Peter seems to understand the appeal of staying off the grid. What begins as an unlikely connection slowly unravels into something far darker: fears soon escalate to paranoia, conspiracy theories, and twisted motives, and small disturbances give way to mounting dread as the walls begin to close in. The play just had a tremendously successful run on Broadway starring Carrie Coon.
