Of all the songwriters and producers to hail from Milwaukee, few have made more of a mark on the industry than Rico Love. In addition to his solo career, the singer has penned and produced hits for artists like Usher, Beyoncé, Wiz Khalifa, Mary J. Blige and Kelly Rowland, and unlike many artists who leave Milwaukee behind, he's retained close ties with the city, returning regularly to perform and network with local talent.
Backline will host a conversation and meet and greet with Rico Love on Saturday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. Given his industry experience, he should have plenty to talk about.
Tickets are free, but space is limited. To attend, RSVP on the event's Facebook page.
