For the first time, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee has partnered with The Current in the Twin Cities and Manitoba Music for the Midwest Music Exchange. The Midwest Music Exchange is an opportunity to share the great music that comes out of Milwaukee with other regions in the Midwest and to learn about each other's music scenes.
As part of this program, there will be a concert in each of the participating stations' city featuring performances from Manitoba's Silence Kit, Minnesota's Lady Lark and Milwaukee's Zed Kenzo. You can catch Zed Kenzo's Milwaukee show this Friday at Company Brewing.
In addition to the concerts, you can tune in each night this week at 9 p.m., where I will chat with Mark Wheat from The Current to learn more about the amazing music coming out of Minnesota. Below is the schedule. We also included a song from Manitoba as well.
