Rejected and alone? Celebrate in Riverwest with 'A Very Emo Valentine's show'
Valentine's Day is upon us and for a lot of us, who are single it can be a sucky holiday. That is why Voodoo Honey has you covered with 'A Very Emo Valentine's Show.
On Feb. 14 at Company Brewing, several Milwaukee artists including B-Free, Yasmeen Daniel, Zed Kenzo, Mario Betancourt Lanza, and Fernando Arias will cover Emo songs from bands like Bright Eyes, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Linkin Park, Fallout Boy, Deathcab for Cutie, and more.
The vocalists will be backed by a Milwaukee all-star band consisting of Aram Feriants (guitar), Reggie Bordeaux (drums), Jake Diaz (drums), Benjamin Preuss (drums), Matty Jay (bass), and Quinten Farr (keyboard). The cover for the show is $10 and doors open at 9pm. So wear all black and your skinny jeans. Don't worry if you want to bring a date, just don't be swapping tongue in front of everyone. ;)
