The Kills pulled off a historic feat over the summer, earning our prestigious “Add of the Week” honor in consecutive months for their singles “New York” and “103.” So the music department was suitably excited to hear the band’s announcement of a forthcoming tour that includes a show at The Rave on Feb. 13.

The two tracks in our playlist will both appear on The Kills’ new album, God Games, scheduled for release this Friday. The tour shares the LP’s name and will start and end in California, kicking off Feb. 2 in Santa Ana and wrapping up a little more than a month later with a March 16 concert in Oakland.

Along with the “God Games Tour” schedule, the duo of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince rolled out one more single (and future “Add of the Week”?) ahead of the album: “Masterpiece,” which shares the slightly pessimistic outlook of its predecessors. Unlike those tracks, it has a golf-themed video you can enjoy below while reading about the ticket details.

Prices for The Kills’ show Feb. 13 run from $42.50 for general to $49.50 for VIP balcony access. Both will be available during the artist presale that starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Spotify presale at noon Wednesday, the venue presale at 10 a.m. Thursday and the general sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
