When I decided to create In The Mix, I did so with one goal in mind: "Be the dopest, most inclusive mix show on the planet!" This is why I will continue to invite ALL who can throw down, THROW DOWN for us! Why not share this time given to me on the airwaves with local talent, especially when they have the passion and drive? Why not lend these two hours on Saturdays to national and international DJs that rarely get press or even the chance to showcase their gift to their own communities? Why shouldn't I make room for headlining talent? The listener deserves all the love and excellence we have to give.
In The Mix is here to inspire and reach out to EVERYONE! I can't express enough how humbled I am to have some of my favorite artists, DJs and producers drop a set for our cool little mix show with a GIANT heart. In the past year, due to the pandemic and gigs being canceled, headliners across the globe jumped on mix shows and live streams to keep playing and upping their craft. Check out some of the names that have come through to Radio Milwaukee in the past year: Hatiras, Jayda G, Claud VonStroke, Paul van Dyk, Eden Prince, Washed Out, Kero Kero Bonito and so many more to come in 2021.
