Another day, another Summerfest American Family Insurance Amphitheater headliner.

Also, another country artist.

Wednesday’s announcement from the World’s Largest Musical Festival revealed Kane Brown as the opening-day act at the Amp on Thursday, June 20. The winner of multiple country-music industry awards, Brown will be in Milwaukee as part of his “In the Air” tour that gets rolling March 28 in Charlottesville, Va. He was last in the city for a January 2022 date at Fiserv Forum.

Brown’s rise started on social-media platforms and saw him release his first EP, Closer, in June 2015. His debut full-length effort came in December 2016 courtesy of a self-titled album, which helped earn him the distinction of being the first artist with No. 1 entries on all five of Billboard’s primary country charts. He has since released a pair of albums, 2018’s Experiment and 2022’s Different Man.

To pick up tickets for the June 20 show, register for the artist presale that starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26. You can also pick them up during the Summerfest presale at noon the following day or the general sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28. More information on all sales is available via Ticketmaster.
