Salam: The Milwaukee Film Festival holds a special place in my heart and is one of my favorite activities in this city. As a movie lover, there's nothing quite like the experience of being in a room full of fellow film enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the start of a cinematic masterpiece.

Kim: I'm always excited when it's time for the Milwaukee Film Festival — or any of Milwaukee Film’s events. Ever since I was a kid, I've loved movies, especially documentaries and (real) horror.
The last time I engaged this much with the fest was during the pandemic, when films were virtual, but this year felt different in the best way. Maybe it was the expansive selection, the promotion or something else, but it's been a wonderfully busy experience.
