Blankspace MKE, the organizers of Black Restaurant Week have launched the curbside edition of the annual event beginning today, May 11, and ending on May 16.
There are over 25 Black-owned restaurants taking part this week with a variety of specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The goal of Milwaukee Black Restaurant Week is to help sustain Black restaurants by way of cooperative economics. According to the organizers supporting these local establishments could help keep the doors of these restaurants open during this pandemic.
