For our final month of the series, we’re focusing on Milwaukee Icons. Carmex, Mad Planet and Real Chili were some of our iconic highlights for the month. For our final episode, we’re playing basketball with the Harlem Globetrotters at their annual New Years Eve game in Milwaukee.

The Globetrotters are easily one of the most recognizable sports teams in the world. From the trick shots, to incredible ball handling and awesome dunks, they bring fun and excitement to millions of families around the world.
The Harlem Globetrotters have played a New Years Eve game in Milwaukee for over 40 years now. As we say goodbye to the Bradley Center and welcome a new Bucks arena, this year will be the final Globetrotters game to be played at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
The Harlem Globetrotters got their start in 1926. According to Buckets, they were the first basketball team to travel to different countries around the world. They taught the game to many people living in countries with limited resources such as electricity or clean water. They also participate in a range of charitable organizations that keep kids healthy and active, builds their character and supports positive learning environments for all children. Now the team is a recognizable global icon regardless of any cultural or linguistic barriers they face.
A Globetrotters performance is like a basketball circus. The players perform acrobatic basketball moves like trampoline dunks and pick on each other to keep the crowd laughing. They invite fans, young and old, to compete in mini-contests on the court and they always stick around to sign autographs for fans.
Tickets for the show are still available. The Globetrotters will play a double header against their long-time foe the Washington Generals at 1pm and 6pm on New Years Eve.
