On last week's Rhythm Lab Radio we featured a lot of new music including tracks from RJD2's project Icebird, producer Bibio, and London based singer/songwriter Jono McCleery. We also introduced a few new artists as well. We played new music from a new Milwaukee artist by the name of Gina Barrington. Her style reminds me of a cross between Chris Issack and Massive Attack. Then there is Y'akoto, who is half Ghananian and half German singer. She recently opened up for Erykah Badu. From Los Angeles, we played new music from a hip hop artist by the name of Iamonmi, whose album was produced by trip hop artist Tricky. Finally, an 88Nine favorite, Valentina, returns with a track by Hot Chip's Joe Goddard.
